Leah Mia! the Dog needs a home

Please contact Maggie ([email protected]) for more information about this pet.

Hey-Hey Y'all, my name is Leah! I am around 1 year old and approx. 40 lbs.  I was found wandering the streets with my siblings looking for food. I was starving, very frightened and  I wasn't too sure of the people that came to get me. I was taken to the vet by animal control where I was treated for mange and now I have a clean bill of health. You can't even tell I had mange, my coat looks fabulous :).  My foster Mom says I have the most kind eyes she's ever seen. I am a really good girl...it might take me just a little time to get used to you, but I'm sure it's not anything a little time, some petting, patience and some love can't fix! My foster Mom says I am the most playful of my siblings.I love toys that make noise, running and playing.  I like other dogs and I'm used to letting small kids pet me. I am looking for a forever home, even though I really like this one. I'm looking for a place I can run and play, and show you what a great dog I can become! My rescuer is partnered with the Chi Society to find me a loving and stable home in the Northeast... Please think about me when you are filling out your application.  I can be loyal, funny, and loving! Thank you!

Please email [email protected] to apply for or inquire further about me...:)

All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines---parvo, distemper, bordatella, and rabies, All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative.  In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. Most dogs come with a micr-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 235.00- 275.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog.   In addition, some of our dogs are fostered in the South and come up once adopted---There is an additional transport fee for these dogs.  Please contact the person listed in the bio for more information on a particular dog. We are very careful in placing our dogs--and look for the best home for each dog--All of our dogs are fostered in private homes, with fosters who get to know the dogs and know the types of home that would be best for each dog. Thank you for considering a rescued pet and we look forward to helping you find a great dog match--
